Hello everyone I am here to share a layout made with the Scraptastic December All the lights kit!
Last week I shared a page with you inspired by one of the arrow papers in the kit - this week, I am going to do the same - but this time, I took inspiration from the confetti style October Afternoon paper in the kit!
I loved this paper - the almost randomness of the confetti/lights design so I tried to mimic that on my page using mist and sequins from my stash.
I used the yellow mist from the November kit - which goes great with this one too :) - and added some splashes of pink and teal too. One of the cut cardstock shapes in the kit was perfect for this too! I added some mist and glitter cardstock behind some of the dots:
and since we are focusing on journalling this month, I chose to type a few sentiments here and there on my page, using the October Afternoon label stickers in the All the lights kit and layer them in different spots on my page.
The stickers are perfect for layering together, or mixed up with the Dear Lizzy ones like this one here!
I also did another page using this kit yesterday - I could even do more if I had time! Such a fun kit with lots of items perfect for layering:
I really used scraps for this page. I had the white cardstock already cut from my Cameo for something else that just didn't work out for me, so I used it here along with some sequins and the kit and I was good to go!
Using a negative shape like this allows you to add some patterns in behind it for a fun look. I chose to use some of the papers, stickers and die cuts in the kit in my missing circles :)
I also had that camera cut all ready to go - just added a few stickers to it and voila - done!
Hope you have your January kit and add ons all picked out!!! Can't wait to get mine! If not, check out how it all works on the kit page HERE
