Bella Blvd - Brush Script trend!

I spent the weekend at a Scrapbook and Cards Today event here in my city - Crop and Create. It's always tons of fun to help out at the events and getting some down time too to scrap with my friends.

I am up on the Bella Blvd blog today with a layout inspired by one of the newest trends - Brush Script!

I hopped on this project right away, I just love the look of the brush script .. although I am terrified of testing it out in wet medium form.

Here is the page I created for this assignment:

I had this photo printed for a few weeks now. It was a picture I captured in the midst of the parent visit night at dance class. I love the natural pose of Addison showing her "pipes" to her teacher.

It reminds me of her personality so much. If you have ever met my daughter, you would know that this is her. She is a tough cookie- having to boss "the brothers" around constantly had helped her stick up for herself and I think it's great for her self-esteem... something that is so tough for girls. I know this personally.

Instead of using a paint brush and painting on my brush script, I cut it from cardstock using a free cut file I have previously posted (link below). The title is one I found on Pinterest and I think it is just perfect for that photo. I have such a hard time with titles, and so Pinterest is just great for that inspo. sometimes!

Anyway, I added in some of the new Bella Blvd candid cards to layer behind my photo and used tons of the new letter stickers for the rest of my title. I LOVE these alphas and LOVE that font!!! I need a cut file for that ... :)

Here is what the brush script file I created and used on this page looks like:

To download the free cut file - you can do so HERE.
Enjoy!

Please stop by the Bella Blog and let me know what you think of this project! I appreciate all your comments :)
