Silhouette - make your own stamps!

I am super excited to share a really easy Silhouette project with you today.

I created this project with no patterned paper and a lot of stamps - that I custom made from 1 shape from the Silhouette online store!

Plus, it couldn't be easier. I simply chose a shape I loved - nothing too thin or the stamping material won't cut welll... so, I chose a lemon design by Echo Park and went to town. Here is my page:

I found that the pigment inks work the best for stamping with the Silhouette material - I used my Studio G inks from M's by Hampton Art and they worked the best. Yep, the ones from the dollar bin at M's. I added in some watercolor paint to my sketched out title and voila my page was almost done! I did add a simple polka dot background to the bottom of my page in white to neutralize all the color on the top of the page.

I love this project - and I love that stamp I made! It is definately one I will use a lot ! Have you tested out the stamping material from Silhouette yet - if not, please do and let me know if you have any questions!

I am taking a wee blogging break next week as we are headed out of town for a family vacation - or first big one... so see you in a week or so with more projects!
