Jillibean Soup Party Playground - Happy Day card

Good morning!! I am up on the Jillibean Soup blog with a card made from the Party Playground line!

This is a party themed collection, with bags, paper straws, pom pom trim and more! I don't have every bit in the collection, so I used the party bags as paper on this card:

I mixed in some punched circle scraps from other collections as well as some of the new Cork Shapes! How fun are these right! I can't get enough of them :) I added a wood sprinkle bling to sparkle up the card and voila, all done!

Jillibean Soup Party Playground! - Love You

Hello scrappers :) I am up on the Jillibean Soup blog today with a layout I made using the Party Playground line by Jillibean Soup.

It is a party themed collection, with pretty much everything you need to have a party! I thought I would use some of the paper bags to create a background for my page.

I love the multicolored triangles on this bag and lined three of them over some white cardstock. Although the bags are cream based, I wanted to add in white to brighten up the page a bit. I folded the ends of the bags and stitched along, to create a scallop like border on the page. I added a couple of the pink and blue chevron bags behind the photo like paper!

I finished off the page with some tags, diecuts and even some stamping with clear stamps from the Summer Red Raspberry line. I used a Mix the Media stencil to trace my title onto patterned paper and used my exacto knife and scissors to cut it out.

That's it for me today! Please stop by the Jillibean Soup blog and see what the rest of the DT has been up to with the Party Playground line!

Jillibean Soup Party Playground - Celebrate card

We are using the new Party Playground collection on the Jillibean Soup blog this month... I wanted to make a fun gift card - card using one of the new treat bags!

I trimmed the top of the treat bag off, removed the string and set it aside. I stitched around the three outer edges of the bag to make the opening smaller to accomodate the gift card.

Next, I took the top part of the bag that I had cut off with pinking shears and stitched it together to make a quick yo-yo flower. I adhered a Wood Sprinkle to the middle and stitched it to the card front! All I needed to do was add a gift card :)
