Jillibean + Maya Road =

Lots of loveliness!

All week, we have been sharing projectson the Jillibean Soup blog using our products mixed with the loveliness of Maya Road!

Here was my project that I did for the swap:

It was super easy to mix the two companies products together - the kraft woodgrain mixes well with the soft burlap - I pulled one of my flowers apart to make the burlap strip in the middle of the page. I love the Maya Road pinks and tags too. The metal bird is so cute! I think it would be great on a baby card too !

Self made kit!

This month, I put together a kit for myself full of goodies from the LCOM store!

It has some Bella Blvd Baby girl, Crate Paper, and October Afternoon in it. Even some Maya Road twine and some fun Evalicious badges too ! (psst...there are some new ones in the store too !! Yay!)

Here is a picture of my "kit" all ready to be dug into!

 I really Love the Evalicious badges and knew I wanted to add some into my kit:

 Look how pretty that sparkly twine is too ! just the right hint of sparkle to the page.

 I did add in some Bella Blvd. chipboard from my stash that I had already picked up from LCOM before. The summery shapes are perfect to mix in with these lines! You could use any chipboard - the baby girl ones that co-ordinate with the paper are in stock!!

 of course, there are more Elle's Studio tags on here too - can't get enough of those!!! Perfect for adding little bits of journalling on your pages.

and I just love the Bella Blvd Baby Girl stickers too!!! Not just for baby pages either!

Harvest Festival

I just finished working on my November kit for Scrapbook Circle.. and it came at just the right time too!!

I just love how Lisa picks just the right name for these kits - and this one is a festival for sure!

I had recently taken some autumn photos of the kids in the woods behind the school (that sounds so bad, I know)...and the shots were really perfect to use with this lovely autumn kit!

One of my fave things in this kit has to be the Apple Cheddar Soup woodgrain paper from Jillibean. It really is just the right mix of brown & kraft.

 That soft Maya Road flower is a lovely shade of orange....

 I added in some twine from the Scrapbook Circle add on section too!

It's a Blog Swap!

First of all - WOW!!! Thanks for all the sweet comments yesterday.. I am happy to know that so many of you agree and are maybe out there commenting on someone's blog - right now :)

and now, onto the scrappy stuff... ;)

This month over at Jillibean Soup - the DT was lucky enough to do a product swap with the folks at

Maya Road! I was in heaven! I dove deep into my Maya Road stash for this one!

Check out my creation.. using only Maya Road and the Jillibean Soup Sweet and Sour Soup line!

 I added some cute blue JBS twine to hand stitch a few little x's on my page, along side the new

Jillibean Soup buttons:

and layered some of the new felt blossoms with some canvas JBS flowers! They look just super with the Maya Road ribbon flowers.
