SCT summer issue share

Hello again! Yes, two posts in a week :) I just wanted to share the projects I had in the summer issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today magazine.

I had a couple assignments. The first was for a stitching article and totally my style! I used a collection from Bo Bunny that was bright and colorful and did a whole lot of stitching.

 Here is a shot of some of the detail:

I also used a cut file from my cut file store JustNick - it's called Quilted Background and you can check it out HERE if you are interested. It's a pretty basic background, but you can do SO Much with it! It is one of my faves lately.

Here is how the page came together all stitched and colorful.

Mission # 35

Happy Superbowl Sunday Scrappers!

Well, if your family is like mine at all.. they are off somewhere getting ready to watch the big game (Go Packers !!)... and maybe you are like me.. and hiding out somewhere in your house getting busy with paper and glue :)

Today a new mission went up over at Mission to Create.

Lots of pastel action going on here.. which if you read my blog know - that is rare for me! That was definitely the most difficult part of this mission for me!! EEK! I did it though.. whew.

Still having fun making myself use ALL the concepts from each mission. Are you???

Bo Bunny

Just sharing some goodies I have been working on lately :)

I am totally lovin' the bright colours of their newest lines!

Can you tell that I am becoming a little obsessed with doilies and using small bits of paper at random :)

This was my last project for Monscrapbook with the Bo Bunny kit :)

I am in love with my new Key Lime Pie glimmer mist ... it goes great with that purple again !

Seriously, most people I know, would run in fear of the purple in the Bo Bunnt papers and in the cardstock I had.. not me !

I actually loved it. It is a different kind of purple if that makes any sense.

Monscrapbook GDT reveal day 1

I was given Bo Bunny Sophie to play with this month for Monscrapbook!

and let me say

I loved the Purple in the kit! Yes, I said it.. the purple with the orange and teal.. love it!

I also loved making these clouds. :) a new addiction for me!
