CP4U and more Happy days!!

Another prompt went up today at CP4U, from our three new Creative Crew Members..and I wanted to share my take with you today!

I used more of the February kit - Happy Days - from Scrapbook Circle to create this page.

Used lots of leftovers for this page, and even brought out paint and borrowed some foam stamps from a good friend ;)

What is so great about me

This was a tough one for me.. truth is, I have been feeling down on myself lately so this was a tough challenge for me!

BUT, I embraced a few little things about me that do help make me a better person, and I am trying to be more positive in 2011!

Bazzill cardstock, KI memories lace cardstock, My Mind s Eye playing cards and flower stickers, Echo Park banner stickers, Misc. alpha stamps, American Craft alphas, embellies, paper, & a whole bunch of punches!

Soft and sweet...

Today's Creative Prompt  by Creative Crew member Ro, at CP4U is one that I honestly had trouble with!  In fact, I ripped my first attempted page apart and started over again.. and I do like how the page turned out in the end.

Here is my page.. once I started pulling out all my soft and pastel-y coloured embellies, it did come together quickly.. but, seriously, I stared at my stash for at least an hour attempting to get started...lol.

So, I took a couple weeks off from CP4U.. I was crazy busy with my Couture Cardstock projects for CHA.. but I am back with this week's Creative Prompt!

The prompt this week is a beachy,summery photo.. and yeah, I wish I could fly away somewhere like that right about now.. but I chose to use the colours in the piece as my inspiration for this page:

I chose this colour concept as the theme for today's challenge:

And I swear, I did this page in about 20 mins.. I love how it turned out!

The heart along the bottom of the page are sprayed with smooch spritz (cherry red) over top of a scrap piece of cardstock I had punched previously with my heart punch!

CP4U day!

today, our GDT Tara challenges us to spice up an already made embellishement!

I used a Jillibean Soup journalling spot and added an accordian flower, some punched circles, a few drops of pearl accents and a brad to it to make it my own thing!

I know you all have stuff in your stash that you can make unique.. give this challenge a try!
