February Hip Kits + a cut file fave
Hello ! I am popping in this weekend to share a project that I made with the Hip Kit Club February kits and a couple cut files from my digital cut file store JustNick
I used several different papers from the January kits and the Candy Hearts cut file from JustNick. I backed each one with dark gray cardstock and popped them up over the tone on tone white background
I really love the clean pops of organized color on this page that you get from the collection of hearts on the bottom of the page. I added a few die cut arrows too to some of the hearts for some fun.
February kits are on their way and I am excited to crack into them! I will be back next week, hopefully with a February kit project!

More January Hip Kits!
Okay, I have told you how much I LOVED this month's Hip Kits?? I really really do. Not that I don't every month (cause I do), but I love the pops of black in this month's kits!

I really loved added some simple strips of paper to my page. Such a simple thing, but adds a big impact, and such a great way to layer little bits so simply and effortlessly. Really. And Hey, you can use up a ton of scraps from your stash this way too!
From there it is just adding layers of little bits for me. Brads, stickers, and the coolest little acrylic circle embellishments (exclusive for this month). Such a light mint green/aqua color. LOVE!
and how fun are these rub ons by My Mind's Eye in the kit ! I love the pretty butterfly and knew it would fit nicely inside the diecut heart on my page (also a scrap from another project).
Well, that is IT for me! I hope you have a great weekend !

Hip Kit Club January!
Hello again! I am truly grateful for all of you who I know read this blog, but might be too shy to comment :)
Just popping in with a quick layout share using the January Hip Kits! I was pretty inspired when I finally cracked these kits open and created 4 layouts right away!
Here is a quick one I did using a cut file from the Silhouette online store:

I really have trouble with titles, so anytime I come across something that makes a great title, I am all up for that! I chose to cut it from white cardstock and then layer the same words, cut with patterned paper overtop, working gradually from light pink to the more multi colored paper by My Mind's Eye in the kit.
I did add in some punched circles with the same papers to match under my photo and added some simple embellishments to some as well as some of the white vellum from the kits!
I think this is a little simple for me, but I really like how it came out! Thanks for popping by :)

Hip Kits January!!
HEY HEY HEY!! It's Saturday and that means it's time to share a page with the Hip Kit Club January kits! I love this month's kits. So much goodness inside, I almost didn't know where to start!
I decided to cut the hearts from my cut file this month and make that a bold pattern to the bottom of my page. I took full advantage of the bold mix of patterns in the kit this month and backed each heart with the black/white striped paper with a vellum diecut circle (from JustNick store) and then the popped up diecut hearts over top. I couldn't just leave those alone! I had to add a few little embellies to each heart to create little groupings along the bottom of my page.
I added my photo and then one of the fun wood veneers in the kit - simply adding a touch of gold ink and broke out my Stickles to add a little bit of sparkle too.
That's it for me today! I hope you get a chance to do something creative this weekend! I am finishing off my classes for Moncton Crop and Create!

December Hip Kits!
Good Morning and welcome to the weekend!!! I am sharing one last page using the December Hip Kits and all that pretty Crate Paper, Seven Paper and Heidi Swapp embellishments!
I love the frames in the kit and decided to trim one from the sheet of patterned paper in the kit and add a little watercoloring to it for my title on my page. So easy and fun to do too!
The frames are a simple way to layer your kit items as well. I tucked some patterned paper behind this frame and layered the whole thing over some tags and diecuts and even added a chipboard little sentiment to the corner. Super easy.
Well that is it for me ! I will be spending part of my day playing with the January Hip Kits that arrived on my doorstep on Thursday! I can't wait :) Enjoy your weekend!

Hip Kit Club - December kit!
Hello hello! Time to share another December Hip Kits project!
I loved the frame paper in the kit and as soon as I saw it, I knew that I would have to use it filled with different scraps of paper in the kit.
I love having a chance to use up some scraps and this really was the perfect way to do it. I quite frankly took all the bits off my desk and used them to fill in the open areas of the frames. In hindsight, I would have watercolored the edges of the frames...BUT , what can you do ! :)
After all the frames were "full", I added a crazy photo of me at a scrapbook event I taught at earlier this year. They always have a fun photo booth and who would I be if I didn't participate + those glasses were too much fun!
I finished off my page with a Hip Kit exclusive PL card and a combo of alphas from the kits! It really was a very easy page to create. I have one other idea for the 2nd piece of this paper I have... I will use that on my next project this month! Enjoy your weekend - I am at CHA working at the PinkFresh Studios booth! If you are around, stop by and say HI :)

Hip Kit Club November Kit!
Good morning!! I have one last project to share with the November Hip Kits! I wanted to use up some of the exclusive items with some PinkFresh Studio papers for this page.

I will be honest in saying, we don't take a lot of wintery photos here. It really gets almost too cold for the kids to play outside in the winter months. Luckily, I had this photo of my guys from a few years back that went well with the papers in the kit! Plus, it is them getting along, which doesn't happen too often lately.
I used a leftover piece of cardstock from diecutting I did with the kit, and layered it over my background paper, adding bits of paper, flair and acrylic shapes inside the openings.
I really love the wood veneer and glittery trees in the exclusives this month!
Thanks for stopping by today! I am off to make some sugar cookies with the kids and my mom. One of our holiday traditions :)
Happy Holidays!

Hip Kit Club - November kit!
Good morning! I am really at a kids Christmas party, but secretly popping in to share a recent page I made using the November Kip Kit Club kits!
I really put my digital die cut machine to do most of the work on this page. I used the Handcut letters cut file from my store JustNick. I randomly cut letters from different papers in the kit and then added them to the woodgrain exclusive Hip Kit paper designed by Kim Watson.
I die cut a few trees from my freebie for November at Hip Kits and mixed in a Pink Fresh Studio diecut tree and some epoxy dots too!
That's it for me today! I will be back soon with more projects. :)

Christmas Pajamas - November Hip Kits!
Wow, time is flying this time of year! I can't believe it is already December 5th already! I am here to share another page with the November Hip Kits!
I wanted to record the memory for the kids of our yearly Christmas pajama tradition. When I was a kid, we didn't do anything of this sort of thing and I thought it would be something nice... everyone always needs new PJs right!
I used mostly Hip Kit exclusives for this page, to create the ornaments, the letters as well as the acrylic embellishments! Lots of good stuff.

Rudolph Ready - November Hip Kits!
Good morning!! I am off to take my kids to swimming bright and early, but thought I would share a page I created with the November Hip Kit Club kits!
This kit is more of a seasonal kit, with TONS of exclusives - wood veneers, patterned papers, alphabet stickers, enamel shapes, PL cards... so many good things!
I created this page with the mood board for this month in mind, using the color scheme, and the reindeer in my mind. I used some of the November cut files on this page as they went with the mood board.
For once I added in some journaling! I know, I rarely do, but I think with these types of layouts, some things require explanation :)... and really, it is a good practice.
That's it for me today ! I am off to swimming and then start some holiday baking for the school bake sale this week! That is my plan for this weekend :) Enjoy yours!

One last Hip Kit page for October!
Hello hello! I am here to share one last page using the October Hip Kit Club kits!
I used some leftovers from another layout for this one here:
As you can see, I have a lot of little happy all over this page! I used the leftover "happy"s from a page I posted a few weeks ago, flipping over the patterns on the B-side of the Pink Paislee paper!
I added in some small punched circles, diecuts and even wood veneers to my stitched lines.
I really love how this page came out - and so quick too! I hope you will give this idea a try! I have another idea in my head swirling around with this concept... hope to give it a try soon!
Thanks for stopping by today :) I appreciate your visits !

October Hip Kits - Cards!
HELLO HELLO! Today is my posting day over on the Hip Kit Club blog and I am sharing a few really easy peasy cards using the October kits.
The October kits have these really pretty frame/diecuts in the Pebbles Inc. pack. A great mixture of different types of frames with smaller diecut images. I chose a few different frames and went to town to make these cards.
The scallop frames look so nice all layered and stitched over the larger 4" frames. I love this sentiment that I clipped down from a sheet of Pebbles Inc. paper that was in the kit.
Super simple, but turned out cute
I used a scrap of a frame that I used on a layout last week for this card, turning the card sideways and adding a little twine from my stash.
I added the thanks sentiments from some diecut words in the Pebbles Inc. package, along with some Pink Paislee puffy flower stickers.
Lastly, I used the gold frame for this card, along with a smaller cream/white frame all stitched together with another cut apart from that Pebbles Inc. paper, layered with a Thinking Of You diecut pennant sentiment. Super easy!
Thanks for stopping by today, hope you soon on the blog :)

October Hip Kit Club Kits + Process Video
GOOD MORNING! Can you believe it is the first weekend in November already? Yikes, this year went by quickly
I am stopping in to share a page I created with the October Hip Kits and the October Mood Board over at HKC!
I was drawn to a few different elements in the mood board - gold dipped acorns, the color scheme and the frames in the mood board, so went with that on my page!
I diecut the feathers from my cut file freebie for October at HKC and embossed the tips with gold embossing powder. I LOVE how these turned out!
Next, I added a whole wack of frames and cards across my page, adding lots of embellishments from the kit too along the way.
And this is how it turned out! I love this colour palette - so soft and feminine, yet fallish too right!?
