SCT June freebie time!

Every month, I create a freebie cut file for the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog. This month's cut file is pretty simple and could be used in so many ways!

Check it out:

Just think of how many ways you could diecut those flowers and use them! On cards, a DIY project or even on a scrapbook page like I did here:

Quite simply, I diecut a whole bunch of those flowers and layered them together, adding some vellum and stitching along the way too.

I tucked some under my photo and popped some of the layers with foam adhesive to make them more dimensional. The title is a diecut shape from the Silhouette store.

It is a really great way to use up bits of paper and combine different patterns quite easily too! Next time I use this one, I will weld a bunch of flowers together to create a background instead!

To download this one for FREE, head over to the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog HERE. You can always find all our past and present FREE downloads on the Magazine tab on the website and scroll down until you see FREE DOWNLOADS ! It is that easy :)

Hope you enjoy this one!

SCT 10th birthday celebration - March 21-30 + a freebie!!

Good morning!! Did you know that Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine is 10 years old! It is truly a wonderful accomplishment in the industry right now, and I am proud to be a small part of it.

We are celebrating with a birthday themed celebration of sorts and I have created this fun and easy party banner as some inspiration for you.

I diecut the whole thing on my digital die cut machine and embellished with more items diecut also on the same machine. I love the rosettes and the layered look it gets on the banner pieces.

You can easily personalize it with a word(s) or numbers like I did, or even keep it neutral with just some simple icons like hearts or stars.

and here is the fun part! JustNick is offering THIS cut file for FREE over on the Scrapbook and Cards Today magazine blog.

use the code SCT10 to get this for FREE during the period of March 21-30, 2016 only, over at JustNick.myshopify.com

February Hip Kits + a cut file fave

Hello ! I am popping in this weekend to share a project that I made with the Hip Kit Club February kits and a couple cut files from my digital cut file store JustNick

I used several different papers from the January kits and the Candy Hearts cut file from JustNick. I backed each one with dark gray cardstock and popped them up over the tone on tone white background

I really love the clean pops of organized color on this page that you get from the collection of hearts on the bottom of the page. I added a few die cut arrows too  to some of the hearts for some fun.

February kits are on their way and I am excited to crack into them! I will be back next week, hopefully with a February kit project!

Basic Grey - Juniper Berry + free cut file!

Hey! I am up on the Basic Grey blog today with a holiday themed project using Juniper Berry with a FREE cut file too!

I created a tree like base for my project using a series of layered squares and added little tags with photos and journaling of our favorite Christmas traditions to each space.

It was a great way to document all those little details if you don't do a large December Daily style of project! (which I don't)

To grab the download, head over to the Basic Grey blog

ENJOY!

SCT Cut File FREEBIE time!

Hello hello! It is that time of the year again - time for another fun cut file FREEBIE over on the Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine blog!

Here is the last freebie of 2015:

Lots of fun holiday ideas in your head yet? I was alone on the blog this month and created both a layout and a few cards using some of the items in this month's freebie.

I broke out my new Fancy Pants Designs Wish Season collection to create this fun page, with an assortment of the cut files - tree, swirls and even the title are all from the freebie.

I wanted to use some of the other icons to make a few cards to incorporate into my stash. I kept the cards quite simple, and the die cutting made them so quick to make!

That is it for me! To check out this freebie, head over to the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog and grab it for FREE right now!

Don't forget to stop by JustNick today to snag the FREE cut file of the day over there too!

Hip Kit Club + a cut file

Just stopping by the blog quickly today to share a project I made for the Hip Kit Club blog this weekend using the April kits and one of my JustNick cut files !

I love all the girly colors in the April Hip kits and couldn't toss any of my scraps out! I used a lot to fill in the Crazy Daisy cut file from my store (link below)

I just got working on the May kits and am basically in love with them!!!  Will be back next weekend with a project (and hopefully a process video too).

If you are interested in the cut file - here is a link to it:

Have a great week! Be back soon with another project share :)
