Crop & Create Winnipeg!!!

It is almost time for Crop & Create Winnipeg - one more week - I really cannot wait!

Spending some quality scrapping time with 2 of my best buddies is a HUGE plus, although we will be missing our 4th amigo :( Ms. Vanessa. Won't be the same without her.

But, I get to see a few people that I haven't either met  or seen in a long time...and

I am TA'ing 2 classes with Vicki Boutin!! WOOT WOOT!

Just need to get some pics taken and developed... I have some stuff planned to work on - gotta get some assignments done you know ;)

The only problem is what to bring!! Dilemmas!!

First off - thanks for all the fun comments on the whole iphone saga... my dearest hubby still says NO! lol

He just doesn't get it!!

Well, mother's day IS coming up..maybe i will get lucky.. doubt it, but if you can help me bribe him, that would be great.

I am thinking of giving the ol' blog a makeover.. need to work on a header first. I want some brighter colours that are more me ;) Of course, teal needs to make an appearance ... :)

I found a good side design - nice and neutral, but I am worried about screwing everything up! lol

Off to search for a few ideas.   ... if you know of any good blog templates...let me know :) Link me up peeps!

I need your help...

... do you have an iPhone... well, I have wanted one for a while now.. and my dear dear husband gives it the kybosh everytime I bring it up.

I am one of very few people that I know that doesn't have a cell phone at all. I know. It is a luxury, and I don't really need one... but I do think it will help me manage my time, the kids activities, keep in contact, emergency situation + hello - it will be fun!

I listen to an ipod all day at work - every day - so, I know I will make use of the ipod like features of the iPhone. My iTouch is great, but I can't access alot of the great apps I want :( It does suit my needs right now though.

I need some ways to convince my DH that I really do NEED the iPhone.. help me out folks... what can I say!!

Pink Princess Party

Well, this weekend marked my youngest's third birthday...and we had to have a party fit for a pink princess!

I didn't go too crazy, it was just our family - but I did make a few things, with the help of pinterest ;)

The idea was to have roses all over the cake - but I ran out of icing...oops...

 inside - the cake was 1 layer of white, and 3 of pink cake.. this was a hit with the kids.. and was requested by all in different colours for their birthdays :)

 oh, and a few of these for the grown ups ;) gotta jump on the Jets band wagon eventually...lol

 We had one sleepy princess that night!! but, she did let me take a few photos before everyone arrived... I have lots of cute ones to scrap now  :)

.... off to think of the next party idea for my soon to be 7 yr old!!
