Some Jillibean Love

I had a few cards go up on the Jillibean Blog on Monday... thought I would quickly share them with you today!

I did this first card for the Jillibean booth at CHA.. I love those felt blossoms.. and now, sadly, I am out. :( I need more in every colour! they are so pretty!

oh, and I am in love with that edge punch from Martha Stewart.. love the doily look of it!

and just a simple teacher card in the spirit of back to school that happened today in our neck of the woods...!
Used a bunch of different lines on this one, Apple Cheddar and Christmas Eve Chowder too!
Don't you love the Soup labels? The "thank you" sentiment is from the Card Sentiments soup labels .. love that. Makes it so easy to whip a card together!

Check out all the cards on the Jillibean Soup Blog ... we have lots of stuff going on at the blog daily - so play along! Don't forget to share your Jillibean Soup projects with us on Facebook - who knows we could be Soup Spotting YOU this week! :)

Jillibean Soup cards

I'm back quickly today to share a few cards I made using lots of Jillibean Soup goodies.

First up is this card I made for my son's teacher this year. He happens to have the same teacher as his older brother did twice... so we thought we would give her a little hello :)

I am getting in the habit of making generic cards - ones that you can use just because and so I made this one, using some of the great Wise Words from Jillibean Soup ! (and did you know that they are written in handwriting based on THE Jill from Jillibean Soup)

School is in full swing now, which means back to school BBQs, Parent Council meeting for me, indoor soccer, swimming and Addison started dance this past weekend! Yeah, you could say we are busy :)

A few cards from my Nook kit!

Just stopping by to share a few quick gift card cards that I made for the teacher's gift cards this year. I added in a few little paper bags to slide the gift cards in - but everything else is in the My Scrapbook Nook December kit!
For the two wreath cards, I punched some shapes and folded them... added some bling and pearls.. and there you have it :)
I like this one the best. The wreath was made with a bunch of 1/2" cirlces folded together.
I love the little tree made from rolled paper.
Hope you will stop by, if you haven't already , and checked out all the fun stuff and great challenges we have going on over at the Nook!

Project uploads!

I have been bitten by the scrapping bug since the new year.. and I have been working on some October Afternoon Report Card for The Paper Passion!

some Kindergarten through Grade 5 books for each of the boys:

Inside each of the books, there is a space at the end to have the kids write their name each year. I thought it would be neat to se this years down the road. On the opposite page, there is a printout that we can fill in each year with their age, teacher, interests and friends.

and yes..I have gained back all my weight as you can see here.

I have a few more to post.. but they are top secret.. :) .. so hopefully soon :)
