New Scrapstreet Mag is out!

and I have one page in there :) The lovely and uber talented Stacey Michaud asked me to contribute a page with the theme of spring...

this one in fact....it's all about SPRING! :)

 We had to focus on journalling - this was tough for me - I am so not a big journaller... just the highlights for me! But, I did make a large tag and hide my journalling inside - added in a bunch of tiny type words from Cosmo Cricket and Authentique!

More October Afternoon for LCOM!

If you have been following..I have been sharing projects all month using October Afternoon - Farmhoue!

When you first look at the October Afternoon - Farmhouse line, you might think it is pretty girly.

Well, sure.... it is! BUT, it is also a classic collection good for boys too ;)

There is a great blue doily paper - perfect for boy pages - and a lot of others if you ask me!

I added in some alphas from another October Afternoon line - this time Sasparilla!

The woodgrain is WICKED cool! (yes Deborah, I know you thought I would never say that...) ;)

 What I love about the October Afternoon products - are all the great little embellishments they have!

I am a sticker freak - and used quite a bit - the diecut sticker sheet, buttons, little flyers and even some of the Flower Sack die cut shapes too!

It is almost the end of the term for the current marketing team - Tanya has asked me to stay on for a few months and do a few different things with the Marketing Team.

Weekend scrapping in review...

So, since Friday night, I completed 2 cards + 8 layouts.. or was it 9?

I'm Back.... :)

Wow, I am so tired today - got home late last night from a super scrappy weekend in downtown Peg City with the ladies from Scrapbook and Cards Today and Crop & Create!

There was about 140 people there - so many scrappers in one place was awesome!! 6 great vendors, prizes, dessert, , photo booth with props, flowers on every table, make and takes, lunch, challenges... and a variety of classes if you were into that too!

I helped TA two classes with Vicki Boutin - learned a few tricks myself - the technique class was jam packed full of tips and techniques.... new scrappers beware! lol

While I was away, my buddies Deborah and Jocie were left alone with my camera........

let your freak fly girls... lol

I was also lucky enough to meet Kimber McGray - my DT co-ordinator over at Jillibean Soup.

She is a doll! Glad we were able to meet, hopefully next time we can spend a little more time together!

On Friday night, we decided to go back upstairs afer the event was over and attempt to take a few photos - and then ventured outside to attempt to take a few shots there too!

All in all - I think it was a great experience! I would definately go again - the goody bags were incredible - the food was awesome, the prizes were NOT cheap.... and there was a great group of people too! We met a few nice ladies at our table... wish I had taken a photo ... but :(

A few projects from Scrapbook Circle!

Been busy playing with my kit from Scrapbook Circle using the March kit - Best. Day. Ever

it is a GREAT kit FULL of new CHA goodies!

I am off to Crop & Create in the afternoon tomorrow with two of my best friends... will be a nice break from being a mommy...need some girl time once and a while!!

A few cards to share!

I made these cards for Jillibean Soup using the some of the new CHA goodies from winter CHA!! I can't decide on which line is my fave - I love how all the lines just work together in different ways too!

 I have embraced kraft tags lately - and the Jillibean ones are PERFECT!! You can get them in various sizes now too ... I used some small ones here, and pop dotted them over the cardstock.

Love the new darker brown twine too !!

Crop & Create Winnipeg!!!

It is almost time for Crop & Create Winnipeg - one more week - I really cannot wait!

Spending some quality scrapping time with 2 of my best buddies is a HUGE plus, although we will be missing our 4th amigo :( Ms. Vanessa. Won't be the same without her.

But, I get to see a few people that I haven't either met  or seen in a long time...and

I am TA'ing 2 classes with Vicki Boutin!! WOOT WOOT!

Just need to get some pics taken and developed... I have some stuff planned to work on - gotta get some assignments done you know ;)

The only problem is what to bring!! Dilemmas!!

Farmhouse - OA style!

This month for Let's Capture Our Memories I am playing with the super pretty collection -

October Afternoon's Farmhouse!

This collection is so pretty, there are so many different things you can do with it! I started this page with a little misting using my Sprinklers that I picked up at the LCOM store in just a few different colours.

On this page I used Red Wagon, Cactus and some glimmer glaze from Tattered Angels.

 I used lots of little pieces on this page - mostly from one sheet of this paper from the store:

Not only is there lots of pretty little bits, but I love the "B" side of the paper too :) So, I chopped it up and placed them all over the misted cardstock background:

 I used quite a few pieces from the Farmhouse miscellany pack along with the paper and

my shape sticker sheet

I also added in some of the October Afternoon buttons, Marashino twine from the Twinery and some Cosmo Cricket tiny type and doilies too :)
