Waiting on Sunshine - New Bella Blvd!

Good morning! I am up on the Bella Blog this week with a colorful spring page using NEW Bella Blvd!

I really dove into the new Clear Cuts (transparencies) when I opened my box. I love something that is different and this is it! There are several different patterns and layer so well over other patterned paper or on their own as I used here on my page.

You can see, that I punched some circles of the Clear Cuts and simply stitched them in place over white cardstock. I knew the rest of the page would be quite bright, so I wanted to leave some white space without it being simply just white. Here is how the whole thing came together. I used a mix of the new collections - Simply Spring, and Color Chaos for this page:

That's it for me today! I will be back soon with another project :)

LOVE - new Bella Blvd!

Just stopping by the blog to share a new page I created with brand spanking new Bella Blvd from winter CHA 2015.

Since love is in the air this time of year, I thought I would scrap an actual photo of me and the hubs from our trip to Vegas last fall. I used a lot of "love" ey colors from the new Bella Blvd Color Chaos collection as well as some Clear Cuts too!

I started off by choosing my papers to work with and cut a background using my Silhouette Cameo.

I then backed most of the pieces of the background with various papers from the collection as well as pieces of the Clear Cuts transparencies. I added a hand cut title using the same papers and a fun new felt Bella Bow! How cute right?

Here is how it all came together:

Did I mention how much I love the new Bella Dots - large enamel dots? So much fun, a lot larger than the others on the market, but I know I will need tons of them :)

Check out lots of creations with the new releases on the Bella Blog all month!

Scraptastic - It's My Life kit

It's my last post over on the Scraptastic Kit Club blog today and so I will share my page with you here too!

I had the It's My Life kit this month and was inspired to scrap a few pages about me. The topic on the blog for today is Pinspiration - here is the piece I chose:

I was really inspired by those stripes and rainbow effect on the pillow and this was my take on it:

To pull in the whole rainbow theme, I really love the rainbow stripe patterned paper in the kit by Bella Bld and knew I wanted to accentuate the bold striped October Afternoon paper background. I trimmed down some thin pieces of that paper and added it to the background, along with a skinny strip of the bright yellow cardstock in the kit.

I added lots of diecut pieces on this project - the arrows mix really well with the starburst circle shapes and the exclusive Scraptastic flair in the kit:

I really love the exclusive stamps this month and used several on this page - I covered up an oopsie on my photo strip with some patterned paper and a row of stamped sentiments from the It's My Life stamp set.

I felt like the bottom of the page needed something, so I added some stickers, diecuts and Scraptastic wood veneer to the bottom corner.

I have some fun news to share in a couple days with you ... but for now, I just want to say a big thanks to Jessica and all the talented DT at Scraptastic for a great 15+ months on the team. I am gonna miss you girls!!

Bella Blvd - It's all about the triangles

Good morning!!! I am excited to be sharing a page with you that I made for the Bella Blvd. Blog this week.

Today's topic is all about trends - more specifically, TRIANGLES! Since I am a huge shape freak, I was very excited to hit this page!

Here is what I came up with:

To make this project come together quickly, I did all the cuts on my cameo. I created two different triangle shapes - one solid and one frame. I was inspired to use the framed triangle by my talented friend Patricia Roebuck from a page she did with that shape recently.

You can see that the slightly smaller frame shape is great for layering - I added some stitching to the triangles with the frames on top.

I added in some cute Bella Blvd flowers, along with some stickers and candid cards, that are new and FABULOUS!!! I am not a project lifer - and they are great for layouts, cards and great for PL spreads too.

That's it for me today!! Now, please head on over to the Bella Blog and let us know what you think of our trendy triangle projects!

Who doesn't love free .. Am I right?

Well stay tuned this week as Stephanie Smokovich, owner and designer for Bella Blvd has something in the works!

You can read Stephanie's blog post about it here:

This year's Thanksgiving Mini Album will be 6x6" and promises to get everyone at your Thanksgiving gathering involved. New for this year's edition, are areas designated for photos to add laters after the event. The printables are a free gesture from me to all my fans, friends and Bella Blvd loyal customers. Hampton Art - CARDS

I am here today to share a few quick cards using lots of Hampton Art stamps!

I am definitely not an expert card maker, so I focus on the quick and easy. I really tried to make a concious effort to stamp a lot on this card.... lol

First up, I used the Kiss Me stamps from Bella Blvd by Hampton Art for this fun lovey card:
I made a semi ombre background with different colours of red and pink inks with the same stamp over and over again. I also stamped some different colour word bubbles and adhered one with 3D adhesive:

Next, I made this card, using some great KI Memories products:

I had the background left over from another project and added some punched circles of patterned paper in behind some of the circles. I added a fun sentiment sticker and some stamped tags, using stamps by Echo Park.

I love the fun circles and it was an easy way to add pops of color on a basic card!

Be back soon with more projects...doing a bit of a catch up ;)

Hampton Art + Bella Blvd hop!

All week long on the Hampton Art blog, we are sharing projects made with the Bella Blvd cling stamps and Bella Blvd products!

Here is a quick and cutesy card I made for the blog using the Kiss Me, Sand & Surf and Love & Marriage stamps, mixed with some older Bella Blvd products I had on hand.

I stamped the hearts on two different patterns of paper twice and then stitched them together and laid them out in a flower shape. I stamped the stem with an arrow stamp from the Sand & Surf collection and covered the arrowhead with the flower shape.

Make sure you check out all the great Hampton Art/Bella Blvd cards on the Hampton Art blog this week!

Sports Freak

I am back to share with you a page I did for Scrapbook Circle this month, using the June Field Notes kit

Another great thing I love about this kit is all the fun colours - there is the bold yellow and mix it with some olivey green and even teal - heaven!
I just love the Echo Park letters -and that you get 2 different fonts is perfect for layered titles!
I am in LOVE with the washi tape by Bella Blvd that was in the kit too - all messy stitched, it is perfection !
I hope you have checked out the ideas gallery and snatched up a kit - if not, what are you waiting for!
