Photoplay paper - Hello Beautiful

I have one last project to share using some new Photoplay Paper! This time, I have used the Belle Vie collection. It is such a pretty, floral based collection and super girly. Would be really great for heritage photos too!

As you can see, I cut several squares of paper and layered them across the bottom of my page, adding some stitching for a quilted look. I think added some popped up stickers and chipboard buttons to the center points as often as I could and then added some journaling stickers to finish off the bottom.

I used one of the larger chipboard pieces and a journaling card for my page title and some diecut stems from JustNick.

Well, that is it for my Photoplay Paper projects! Will be back soon with more scrappiness.

Photoplay paper - Hello Summer

Last week I shared a few pages I created using some of the new collections by Photoplay Paper and this week I have 2 more to share with you!

First up is this page using the Summer Daydreams collection!

This collection just screams SUMMER! I love this fun yellow patterned paper and knew it had to be the background for my page. I layered strips of different papers in the collection, along with chipboard stickers, diecut stickers and even fussy cut out some paper to create the row through the middle of my page. Keeping it all lined up made the page come together quite quickly!

I hope you like this one! I love how it turned out, quite simple and nice and bright :) I have one last Photoplay paper project to share with you soon!

Photoplay paper- Birthday Boy

Hello hello! I am back to share a super quick page using the Birthday Boy collection from Photoplay paper! This one was a bit of a challenge for me, as I don't usually use themed collections for what it was intended.. :)

I really loved that bold red paper and chose that as my base, then added a whole bunch of circles of paper using different papers in the collection pack. I used some of the triangle pennant stickers as pie pieces for my page to add a little something to the plain circles, adding some stitching and popped up star stickers around that stitching.

For just having stickers and paper to play with, I think it turned out pretty okay! I have a couple more pages to share with some of the Photoplay Paper collections... stay tuned!

Photoplay paper - You are Awesome

I was asked to create a few samples for the new paper company - Photoplay Paper! I was sent a few different collections, and wanted to share one with you today.

I created this page with the Like a Girl collection. It is full of girly and pretty patterns and colours and it was perfect for this photo of my daughter sitting pretty on our front steps.

I used a lot of scraps of paper for this one, trimming the patterned papers to 3/4" strips and layering them along the left edge of the page, starting at the bottom. I added in some scallop edge punch strips from white cardtstock to break it up a little bit and went from there... layering papers in different patterns and changing up the colours as I went.

I added in some pop dotted circle stickers and a journaling card for my title, and then did a whack of stitching throughout and bam! all done :)

I will be back to share my other Photoplay Paper creations... but this one is my favorite :)
