Together...

Time to share one last page I did using the Scrapbook Circle Field Notes kit

I love this cork board paper - I used it a while ago on another page, but it is just the right shade of kraft with some fun texture don't you think! ?

I really wanted to use bits and pieces again - I punched a bunch of numbers from one of the Echo Park papers in the kit and used the scrap piece (green) below:
I added in more washi tape to go with the washi tape that was included in the kit from Bella Blvd and stamped on it - of course, I stitched the crap out of it too ... lol
The camera paper in the kit is PERFECT! Honestly, I am hoarding it - cutting those little cameras out is so easy and a great embellishment. Layer it all onto the mini polaroids from another one of the papers and there you go !
It is always a new adventure when I get my next Scrapbook Circle kit - and I am expecting one any day now! I cannot wait to see what Lisa has snuck inside :)

1, 2, 3 ... cheese!!

I went a little colour crazy for this month's assignment over at Jillibean Soup - truth is - I have tons of scraps piling up and this page was a good way to use up a bunch of different papers and patterns :)
I just adore the cool wood flags that Jillibean Soup put out at winter CHA... can you believe that summer CHA is right around the corner!! yikes!
The soup labels are always fun and perfect for making little flags too :)
Check out this rainbow of colour - from all different JBS lines too!
Love that they can work together so well!

We have gotten our CHA assignments and let me tell you - I don't know what I did to deserve it - but holy crap - the new line I will be working on for CHA is the BEST!!
Seriously, you are all going to love it!

Today my son is having a wee operation to have a mole removed. It is nothing major, but they have to put him completely out. I am a little freaked about that - but I will be in the operating room with him the whole time. He is getting scared himself, and we are trying to be calm with him about it.. but what can you do! I told him how much everyone will be making him feel special, so that puts a smile on his face...lol I am sure I will be instagramming all day long with photos.  Have gone a big hog wild with the whole iphone photos thing. I love that I can take photos anytime and anywhere too!

Catch youon the flip side :)

Sports Freak

I am back to share with you a page I did for Scrapbook Circle this month, using the June Field Notes kit

Another great thing I love about this kit is all the fun colours - there is the bold yellow and mix it with some olivey green and even teal - heaven!
I just love the Echo Park letters -and that you get 2 different fonts is perfect for layered titles!
I am in LOVE with the washi tape by Bella Blvd that was in the kit too - all messy stitched, it is perfection !
I hope you have checked out the ideas gallery and snatched up a kit - if not, what are you waiting for!

Sketch time at Jillibean

I have another sketch up over at the Jillibean Soup blog this month - Play along and you could win!

Here is the sketch:
Lots of fun possibilities with this one!

Here is my take on it -
I used a mix of Neopolitan Bean Bisque and Southern Chicken Dumpling Soup ! I added in one of the vellum envelopes stamped with my Sweet & Sour Soup stamps from Unity/Jillibean too:
Punch some "confetti" from some scraps and include inside for some fun!  I also broke out my Cuttlebug and Papertrey Ink banner dies for this page.. layered with some white cardstock to pop a little more:
and a big ol' title cluster at the bottom of the page! lol
I hope you will play along with the sketch this month and share them with us on the blog or Facebook too! You could be "Soup Spotted" or pinned :)

I hope my dad doesn't read the blog...

... cause he will see this quick card I made for Father's Day and Jillibean Soup as part of my June assignments!

I used another wood flag with some soup labels and stickers layered together. Attached to the "tie" and a perfect quick card for any Dad!
Do you do anything special for Father's Day? The kids are getting their dad a new bike - his is pretty ghetto...lol, and I will get my dad some fan gear from our local football team . Will probably have a little BBQ or something to celebrate... you?

Wonderful smile

Hi everyone! I am very excited to be back again for another term at Let's Capture Our Memories
as a designer and co-ordinator!

This month, I will be working with some Lily Bee Designs product - all found in the Let's Capture Our Memories store! I have been dying to dig into these supplies and share with you!

First up is a page I did using one of my favorite things - little bits and pieces - I know this is not a new or unknown thing - but you really can do a lot with some little bits of paper to give them texture and depth!

I started off with this paper from the store from the Handmade line:

It was screaming for me to chop it up - not only is there tons of different patterns, but multiple colours too!
I love that! Here is what I came up with when pairing this paper with one of the Lily Bee basics papers (polka dot one side, grid the other):
I tried to add some texture by stitching the squares and adding a few buttons to them.  I also used some of the papers from the Bag of Bits and layering some foam squares under them:
I added a few little flags that I made by stitching some folded paper together onto a sewing pin and clipping the ends to a pennant flag:
There is lots of Lily Bee Designs available in the store - check it all out HERE

home is where the heart is

I am getting used to making more cards lately.
I had a more than a bit of fun making this one for Jillibean Soup this month!
I just love the corrugated houses - all the shapes in fact - and used a bunch of my Jillibean/Unity stamps on this card, along with more scraps of paper and lots of an Apple Cheddar Soup 6x6 paper pad too!
Check out the Jillibean Soup blog for tons of great inspiration daily... there are some cute cards up on the blog today !!
