Right Now | JustNick Cut files

Good morning! All week we on the JustNick blog, we are sharing some projects using circular cut files from the store!

I chose this fun design to use on my page:

I decided to go big with this design for the title of my page.

I think the big design makes a big impact even though it is just cut from some simple cardstock.

I also used another circle cut file that will hit the store this weekend... wanna sneak??

Stay tuned this week on the blog for a guest + a freebie too!

#u&me - Scraptastic

Good morning :)

I am stopping by the blog today with another page from my January Scraptastic kit... I just finished off my February projects and will share those soon :)

I just love the bright colours in this kit - Tongue Tied. All that Studio Calico Printshop is enough to drool over !

I started this page by just punching a lot of circles from my scraps from this kit. I really wanted to use all different patterns and colours, so I punched a few different sizes and played around layering them together. Once I had decided on the stacking process, I adhered them to my page and added some sewing.

You can see that I embellished the circles with one of the exclusive flair from the kit, along with some of the cool glittered stars from the kit too!

I added in more glitter with the Dear Lizzy heart toothpicks, tucked under this brushscripted tag.

And here is my completed page - I used the cool ombre paper by Echo Park for the background of the page.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today - the weather is *maybe* finally turning around up here in Canada .... so I hope to get outside to take a few wintery pics this weekend coming up.. How about you??

"I do what I Doos"

Hello blog readers - anyone out there on this *still* chilly February morning? I have a post/challenge up on the Scraptastic Blog that is all about the TITLE.

I know that my biggest problem in scrapbooking is seriously coming up with a clever title. I am getting tired of the one word titles for pages, and so when I received this month's Tongue Tied kit from Scraptastic I had a decent (and not original) thought of using a cute saying my daughter tells us all the time for the title of my page.

I started off by using a sheet of the Pink Paislee Color Wash paper that was in the kit and then used a lot of the vellum word bubbles by Studio Calico (printshop line) onto my page.

I then added some chipboard alphas and embellished the vellum and paper with rub ons and chipboard stars from the kit. I used the Scraptastic exclusive stamps from the Tongue Tied kit that were perfect for this kind of page!

Here is my completed project:

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope you find some time today to do something creative.

Tongue Tied - Scraptastic kits!

This month at Scraptastic Kit Club, I chose to work with the Tongue Tied kit! It was so fun, lots of bold color in this kit.

Here are the rest of the layouts I did with this kit and add-on.

I love the vellum die cut shapes from the Printshop line by Studio Calico and used a lot on this page!

I mixed a lot of the patterns in the kit on this page, layering a bunch of punched circles on my page over the ombre pink paper from the kit.

I love this fun Color Wash paper from Pink Paislee and it is really a great staple for an easy background paper. Lots of possibilites for this!

So now I am eagerly awaiting my February Scraptastic kit! I have some "free" time to play... can't wait for it to arrive!

Scraptastic and a freebie!

Well, it's another blistery Sunday here up north and so I sat down to do a little scrapbooking!!  I pulled out the last bits of my Scraptastic January kit - Tongue Tied and this is what I created:

I came up with a brush script alphabet for my cameo , since I am so not good with ink and paint...  I think it turned out decent.

Here is the alphabet:

I'll be back with a few more Scraptastic kit projects this week!

Scraptastic Kit page shares

Hey! I have a couple more pages to share with the November Colorblind kit from Scraptastic Kit club. I went a little color crazy with it this month... and I am totally fine with that! lol Here is my next page:

< To create the background, I used a lot of the fun Pebbles Inc. frame tags in the kit. I cut them in half and then layered a few over the base cardstock background. I added a few different things into each frame area, including a title made using the fun mixed font from the Glitz alpha stickers:

I also used the exclusive Scraptastic Stamps and some word stickers by Glitz in some of the frames too:

Next, I created a fun and whimsical background cut with my Silhouette Cameo and layered some circles of patterned paper from the kit behind it.

I am off to make a holiday shopping list!!! this is such a busy time of year, I hope I can fit everything in!

Scraptastic November !

Good morning! I am happy to share a page made with one of this month's kits from Scraptastic Kit Club !

I honestly think this is mt absolute favorite kit to date - so much bold colour and I am a huge fan of that! Here is the first page I created with the Colorblind kit and add on:

I love the die cuts that are available - from Glitz Design - I have been eyeing up this collection and so glad Jessica put it into this month's kit! This feather is perfect!

I love the little paper dots - I call them paper sequins and used them like I would for metallic sequins. I stitched a few down on a portion of this page and added some word stickers to cover up a part of the Glitz diecut journaling card that didn't quite go with my photo.

Come back tomorrow - I have another fun project to share with the same kit!
