My Favorite Things !!!

I was lucky enough to get some fun dies and stamps from Laina Lamb and My Favorite Things!

Laina sent me these awesome goodies -

I shared a page yesterday that I made with these products - now here are a few cards!

I used the geotag die to make some hearts for this card!:

 and this card was made using the road strip die! I love the wavy effect!

and yes, that alpha stamp is basically a new favorite for me!!! I love that font!!!

I have been seeing a lot of outlined alphas out there lately - and so that was the starting point for this page. That plus I used a lot of fun Heidi Swapp papers and these new dies from my talented friend Laina Lamb and My Favorite Things:

These were perfect for this travel page!

My Favorite Things

I am excited to share a page I created as a Guest Designer for My Favorite Things this month!

I had a great time playing with the die sets - the labels and tabs were my favorite for this page - I layered a bunch together using some American Crafts patterned paper.

I love Laina Lamb's cute camera dies so much - can totally see using these ALL THE TIME like this little one tucked in here on my page:

 and the stamps are great too - so sticky to my clear block and the impression is top notch!

I am back again today to share another page I made using some fun dies and stamps from

My Favorite Things!

This time I really let the dies lead the way for my page - I used a die to create the background for my page and went from there:

I created the background for my page using the Labels and Tabs die set - I cut a whole bunch of different papers and created the background for my page. I stitched them all down onto white cardstock.

I added in some smaller labels layered with some of the stamps and a little more stitching too!

I used some different colours of ink and some of the great chevron/arrow stamps in the Right this way set by Laina Lamb (who is totally awesome by the way)

I had so much fun with these dies and the stamps this month - I am so glad to have them added to my stash - each of the sets are true "staples" and I know I will use them over and over again!

My Favorite Things

I am super excited to share a couple projects I made using my friend Laina Lamb's stamps and dies sold by My Favorite Things!

I was sent the March release from Laina Lamb - which were these super fun and high quality designs:
  

Super cool right? I couldn't wait to get going, so I started out with a couple masculine cards - we go through them like crazy in this house:

I think that hand is THE most awesome thing! 

 The star dies are awesome ! The largest one has a circle rivet embossed design all around the edge (it is really hard to see in this pattern of green)...and I adore those small stars stamps!

 

Next, I created a page using a lot of these stars and some Jillibean Soup with my oldest. I got his to write down what his top 5 fave songs were right now and went from there:

 

So, after I did this boyish page - which this release is perfect for - I thought, "hey self, I should really do something girly with this boy stuff!"

( I talk to myself all the time...lol )

I broke out the guitar pick die and my 6x6 Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm paper pad and went to work cutting a lot of guitar picks to make this background:

 I have to say - I love how it turned out - it is such a "me" page - I love all those little bits of paper!

It did take quite a while to make all those flower shapes... the sewing was the easy part ;)

And, since it was about me - I had to add somee sparkle in the form of sequins and gold metallic thread (my new fave thing). I also used a Crate Paper photo overlay as patterned paper on my page:

That's it!! I have to say that I am very impressed with the dies and the stamps - I would definately order them again - in fact, I already have a few in my cart ;)
