One last Hip Kit page for October!

Hello hello! I am here to share one last page using the October Hip Kit Club kits!

I used some leftovers from another layout for this one here:

As you can see, I have a lot of little happy all over this page! I used the leftover "happy"s from a page I posted a few weeks ago, flipping over the patterns on the B-side of the Pink Paislee paper!

I added in some small punched circles, diecuts and even wood veneers to my stitched lines.

I really love how this page came out - and so quick too! I hope you will give this idea a try! I have another idea in my head swirling around with this concept... hope to give it a try soon!

Thanks for stopping by today :) I appreciate your visits !

October Hip Kits - Cards!

HELLO HELLO! Today is my posting day over on the Hip Kit Club blog and I am sharing a few really easy peasy cards using the October kits.

The October kits have these really pretty frame/diecuts in the Pebbles Inc. pack. A great mixture of different types of frames with smaller diecut images. I chose a few different frames and went to town to make these cards.

The scallop frames look so nice all layered and stitched over the larger 4" frames. I love this sentiment that I clipped down from a sheet of Pebbles Inc. paper that was in the kit.

Super simple, but turned out cute

I used a scrap of a frame that I used on a layout last week for this card, turning the card sideways and adding a little twine from my stash.

I added the thanks sentiments from some diecut words in the Pebbles Inc. package, along with some Pink Paislee puffy flower stickers.

Lastly, I used the gold frame for this card, along with a smaller cream/white frame all stitched together with another cut apart from that Pebbles Inc. paper, layered with a Thinking Of You diecut pennant sentiment. Super easy!

Thanks for stopping by today, hope you soon on the blog :)

Pebbles Inc. Yours Truly!

I was excited to be asked by Tauni Everett to be a GDT over on the Pebbles Inc. blog today!

I was sent a generous box with the new Yours Truly collection - just perfect for Valentine's day! I created three pages with it to share on the blog...

here they are, using only some cardstock and the Yours Truly collection by Pebbles!

This collection is great for masculine pages too - there are some fun chalkboard elements great for boys !

As soon as I saw the little mini envelops I knew I had to use them for a page about the little notes Lucas leaves for me :)

I would appreciate it if you could stop by the Pebbles Inc. blog today and say HI and let me know what you think of my projects and the entire Yours Truly line!

Scrapbook and Cards + freebie time!

I think it's time for another cut freebie for your Cameo - dont' you??

If you are not aware - I create a new FREE cut file for the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog each month and this month, I was keeping LOVE in mind :)

Here is what the freebie looks like:

I used a lot of the Pebbles Inc. line Yours Truly to create this page about my fur baby:

I cut out several XOXOXO's from the script paper in the line and added it to some simple white cardstock. I added a few heart stickers and some machine stitching too.

I cut out the fun lips shape, popped it up with some foam squares and added it to the center of a circle punched shape.

To download this freebie - just click HERE I am still trying to figure out how to create a good SVG file without Adobe Illustrator... if you know how - please shoot me an email! ENJOY!

Scraptastic Kit page shares

Hey! I have a couple more pages to share with the November Colorblind kit from Scraptastic Kit club. I went a little color crazy with it this month... and I am totally fine with that! lol Here is my next page:

< To create the background, I used a lot of the fun Pebbles Inc. frame tags in the kit. I cut them in half and then layered a few over the base cardstock background. I added a few different things into each frame area, including a title made using the fun mixed font from the Glitz alpha stickers:

I also used the exclusive Scraptastic Stamps and some word stickers by Glitz in some of the frames too:

Next, I created a fun and whimsical background cut with my Silhouette Cameo and layered some circles of patterned paper from the kit behind it.

I am off to make a holiday shopping list!!! this is such a busy time of year, I hope I can fit everything in!

Scraptastic November !

Good morning! I am happy to share a page made with one of this month's kits from Scraptastic Kit Club !

I honestly think this is mt absolute favorite kit to date - so much bold colour and I am a huge fan of that! Here is the first page I created with the Colorblind kit and add on:

I love the die cuts that are available - from Glitz Design - I have been eyeing up this collection and so glad Jessica put it into this month's kit! This feather is perfect!

I love the little paper dots - I call them paper sequins and used them like I would for metallic sequins. I stitched a few down on a portion of this page and added some word stickers to cover up a part of the Glitz diecut journaling card that didn't quite go with my photo.

Come back tomorrow - I have another fun project to share with the same kit!

Scraptastic Classy Girls

Hey everyone! Just checking in with a few simple projects made with one of this month's kits at Scraptastic - Classy Girls

I just love the colors in this kit, check out what I made so far!

It's hard to tell in the photo - but I used the exclusive Scraptastic Stamps and Versamark to create a subtle pattern with the hearts for this card, along with some cardstock from the kit and a little help from my Cameo. :)

I added lots of stickers and sequins to the pages from this kit, like on this one here:

I couldn't resist added some sparkle to this page about my recent trip to Vegas a few weeks ago:

I love how the sequined "border" turned out - I will do that again for sure!
I used a lot of the Studio Calico Sequins for this page too:

and I will leave you with one last quick card from the kit:

It's the long weekend up here in Canada - so I am off to enjoy some quality down time before school and work gets into full winter swing!!

Pebbles How To Tuesday

Today I am up on the Pebbles Blog with a quick how to project!

I am just about to start  my version of Project Life this summer, so I thought I would make a few quick and easy cards that could be used for Project Life or even as journaling cards on layouts or even a quick card.

You can see that they fit in quite nicely in a PL style photo sleeve:

check out the whole how to on the Pebbles blog today!

Pebbles Flowers Week!

This week on the Pebbles Inc. blog, we are all about FLOWERS!

I had no trouble creating a page using lots of flowers. I broke out floral papers from a few different collections, including the new Lakeside line and got to work!

I created this page using a grid pattern:

I created these 3D flowers by punching 3 flowers out of different patterned paper, then clipping toward the center of one petal and then adding foam squares in between the layers. A brad or button finishes them off quickly!

and I adore the new chalkboard letter stickers in the Lakeside collection!!

Please follow us on the Pebbles Inc. blog and see all the projects for flowers week by the rest of the DT :)

Happy Scrapping people! I am off from my 9-5 job and so I will be all day today!!!
