Hello there - Scraptastic kits

Good morning!!

Just wanted to share a really quick card with you today, using one of the Scraptastic November kits - Colorblind!

My favorite and only way I will make cards is with my scraps. For this card, I cut a few simple and imperfect triangles, and stitch them down with my sewing machine.

After I had the triangles on my card base, I added some drops of mist along with a few messy rolls with my Glitz roller stamp and some lime green ink. I added in a few black rubons from my stash, which are also from Glitz Design and added a stamped title from the exclusive Scraptastic stamps and VOILA - card was complete!
Be back soom with more projects :)

Scraptastic Kit page shares

Hey! I have a couple more pages to share with the November Colorblind kit from Scraptastic Kit club. I went a little color crazy with it this month... and I am totally fine with that! lol Here is my next page:

< To create the background, I used a lot of the fun Pebbles Inc. frame tags in the kit. I cut them in half and then layered a few over the base cardstock background. I added a few different things into each frame area, including a title made using the fun mixed font from the Glitz alpha stickers:

I also used the exclusive Scraptastic Stamps and some word stickers by Glitz in some of the frames too:

Next, I created a fun and whimsical background cut with my Silhouette Cameo and layered some circles of patterned paper from the kit behind it.

I am off to make a holiday shopping list!!! this is such a busy time of year, I hope I can fit everything in!

Scraptastic November !

Good morning! I am happy to share a page made with one of this month's kits from Scraptastic Kit Club !

I honestly think this is mt absolute favorite kit to date - so much bold colour and I am a huge fan of that! Here is the first page I created with the Colorblind kit and add on:

I love the die cuts that are available - from Glitz Design - I have been eyeing up this collection and so glad Jessica put it into this month's kit! This feather is perfect!

I love the little paper dots - I call them paper sequins and used them like I would for metallic sequins. I stitched a few down on a portion of this page and added some word stickers to cover up a part of the Glitz diecut journaling card that didn't quite go with my photo.

Come back tomorrow - I have another fun project to share with the same kit!

This month over at Scraptastic Kit club, we have been trying to use our punches on our kit projects - I love my punch stash. My favourite go to punches are circles or any size !!

I am fond of circles - but wanted to jazz them up a bit, so I decided to create some quick tiny pie charts with my punched circles!

Here is my page:

You can see that I punched some circles from the Glitz Design paper - then I went ahead by stacking the different coloured circles on top of each other and clipped them all at once. This creates "pies" of the same size. I added them onto the same sized circle out of white cardstock and then just layered my "pies" back together, alternating the colours on each pie shape.

Once I was done, I added some messy stitching to them. Here is a close up:

Then, I pulled out my Scraptastic Exclusive Mr. Brightside stamps and stamped some pie chart shapes onto scraps of vellum I had (with Staz On ink) and punched those out too... and added them to my page!

Cute right! I just love that pie chart stamp!!!

Hope you are inspired to make some use from your punches and get a little creative with basic shapes :)
