Technique Tuesday - Stamps & Dies!

Good morning! I am excited to share a project with you using some fun Technique Tuesday stamps and co-ordinating dies!

Technique Tuesday sent me a set of the Going Places Memory Keepers stamp/die set.. and here is a page I created with it.

The set comes with a set of small dies -in this case travel related icons, heart, & camera. I used each shape to diecut from different papers and then layered over some punched circles.

I added in the fun globe stamp too, that matches the size of the circle, for some contrast!

 

I also used one of the stamps and created a tag for it out of patterned paper. There are lots of great sentiments in the Going Places set!

Cottage kits!

I was super excited when Sharon from The Scrapbook Cottage here in Winnipeg approached me to do a few pages using the June "Cottage Kit"! It is full of goodies from Crate Paper Storyteller, Bazzill, Jenni Bowlin and Studio Calico!

Here is my first page - I used today's sketch from Creative Scrappers (by me) #211:

 I added in some of my My Minds Eye doily stamps that I have been hoarding - they go really great with the doily patterm in the red tag in this line.

The sketch on Sunday was created by me.. ! I had to embrace my doily love for this sketch...

Lots of fun colours on this page - I love that deep, rich yellow mixed with the turquoise and pops of white!

I made the doily shapes myself. I have been asked to share a how to - and I promise I will try. I meant to do something this past weekend, but it just didn't happen. It is super easy, you only need 2 items!

Here are a few little peeks of some other projects I have worked on with this month's COOL kit! I just have to say -- I love how this kit is not too matchy, matchy, but it all still goes so well together!!!
