Creative Scrappers sketch!

I have always been a big fan of the Creative Scrappers site and not just because Kristine is a very good friend, but because there is always LOTS of great inspiration!

This week they are having a special reveal with a fun challenge blog called - White with One - the concept is you use white and ONE other color - this week it is blueberry.

The 2 teams have teamed up and came up with some fun stuff. I decided to play along this week and here is my page:

The thought of white and one other color scared me just a little, but then I realized you can add versions of that colour to mix things up! It's really not the scary at all - a good challenge!

Plus, there is a great sketch to use this week too!

Check out the challenge HERE

Creative Scrappers 207

A little late - but wanted to share a pge I did using the May kti from Scrapbook Circle and using sketch 207 at Creative Scrappers!! I love grid like sketches and this one was PERFECT!

It doesn't hurt that I like how my page turned out too ... :)

Just a few closeups of the distressing and layering I added to some of the pieces:

Hope you like! Do you like using sketches.... what kind do you like - multi photo or single photo - funky background, linear, circles.... ? I need to hand in a few new sketches and would love to have your input on what you like to use!

Creative Scrappers 205!

A new sketch went up on the Creative Scrappers blog by the awesome Kristine Davidson on Sunday.. this post was supposed to go up then too...but for whatever reason, blogger decided not to publish it! Grr :(

Anyways....I loved the clean lines of this sketch... and using my April Scrapbook Circle kit..

(yes, this is my 6th page with the kit)... I created this :

I just LOVE the fun colours in this kit!!!  Just add some neutrals - and in this case, I am calling yellow a neutral - and you are good to go! A good sketch helps pull it all together too!

Here is a couple closeups:

Look at all that amazing  colour!!!

the Heidi Swapp colourable pennants are perfect!

I think this hot pink is my favorite paper - goes well with the Jillibean yellow base too :)

finally used some flair - omg, i have so much hanging around it is crazy!!!

And did you see that Let's Capture Our Memories is having a Marketing Team call?

Sketch #203

is up today over at Creative Scrappers !!! Check out the sketch HERE

Here is my take on it - my little sweetie on her 3rd birthday :)

I used some old and new Crate Paper for it- and a few cheapo brads that I found - all blingy and purty!

Hope you like the page - have a Happy Easter today :)

make sure to check out the sketch today and the rest of the DT reveal :)

There are tons of great sketches - lots of inspiration if you are in a dry spell!! C'mon, we all have 'em! :)

Here are the 2 pages that I did for the E-Book.

First up - I finally cracked out some of my Studio Calico papers that I had been hoarding...lol

A few fussy cut butterflies from my Scenic Route chipboard leftovers..they really are such a pretty size and shape of butterfly.

The second has a colour scheme that I happen to love.

I even busted out some old school Heidi Swapp chipboard I had in my stash for the title!

I just love my Technique Tuesday - Ali Edwards stamps!!! I would use them on every page if I could ;)

Hope you won't miss out on this great deal - if you are looking at getting this book -don't wait :)

Sketch #199

is up at Creative Scrappers today!!

I am so lucky to be back on the team again as a layout designer + sketch designer too!

Here is my take on the sketch this week:

I finally dug into my Crate Paper - Paper Heart for this one. I used one of the large vellum envelopes instead of using paper:

and a few scraps of paper and bits of stamps I have collecting dust in my stash ;)

Hope you will check out today's reveal to see what the rest of the DT did with the sketch!

My Last Creative Scrappers Page...

... I have loved working for Kristine at Creative Scrappers as a layout designer for the last year or so.. I didn't reapply for the DT this time around... but I will be still with Creative Scrappers as a Sketch Artist!

Here is the page I did using My Little Shoebox and Sketch 180 - my kidlets last Halloween all dressed up ready to trick or treat!

I had to add some Doodlebug Glitter paper for those stars.. so pretty!

I also used those Jillibean Soup stamps again (from my Oct Nook kit)

I can't wait to go house to house with the kids.. this is actually the first year we are decorating the house/yard for Halloween. The kids are pretty excited... and so are we! This should be the first year that Addison will really get into the whole trick or treat thing too.

Hope you have a safe Happy and Safe Halloween!!
