oops..

forgot to make this post! 2 weeks ago, we shut down the Mission to Create blog... My besties and I started the blog as just some fun for each other, not knowing if anyone else would care or want to play along. Well, along the way, we were super lucky - we had some great GDT's join us, lots of generous sponsors and an amazing card team joined us for a while too!

This was my last page for the MC blog...

Lots of Crate Paper Neighbourhood going on here - made the fun sun shape out of some circles and a lot of stitching too.

Used my Papertrey Ink cloud die, and polka dot embossing plate to make the clouds.... added just a wee touch of stickles for fun.

Thanks to everyone who participated on the MC blog over the last couple years, we enjoyed seeing your work and having you post sweet comments !

And thanks to my girls for letting me take it over ... lol

Mission #42

... just must have been my favorite one by far... too bad it will be almost my last.

The girls and I have decided to shut down the blog - truth is....it was a lot of work to have no one really participate.. :(

We started it for ourselves, and were joined by some super creative people along the way... our card team ladies rocked and we were lucky to have some uber talented people GDT for us... not to mention our generous sponsors too.

We will probably still challenge each other privately, maybe I will post one or two here for a RAK now and then :)

Here is my page for mission #42 using tons of stuff from Crate Paper - Emma's Shoppe:

So - I wanna say thanks to my girls - Deborah, Jocie and Vanessa for putting up with me the last few years working on the blog  and for creating alongside me every couple weeks.. You are the best friends a girl could ask for.

And thanks to those of you who did visit and participate.. we appreciate it more than you know! I hope you enjoyed Mission to Create as much as we did!

Mission # 41

Mission # 41 went up on Sunday over at Mission to Create!

Our sponsor this month is - Wendy Hammer who has a cool Etsy shop filled with homemade felt goodies and more!

She sent us some goodies to use for our pages in May - I used a red felt heart and a ton of sequins from the package on this page:

Also used some KI Memories Puffies on this one - they are so cute!!! Just puffy enough! I got mine at Let's Capture Our Memories ;) They were on sale :)

I also used a Hello Kitty paper tag from when I bough my daughter a Hello Kitty t-shirt ;)

Yep - it's mission time!

This week at Mission to Create, we have the super talented Jaime Warren as our GDT!! I was super stoked when she said YES to my GDT request!! We have been truly honoured to have such creative GDT's join us week after week!

Anyway, here is the page I created with this week's concepts in mind:

So - make sure you play along with us this week.. check out what the rest of the MC and Jaime did with the concepts !!

We have something fun planned.. still working on some details, but keep watching the blog for the deets!

Happy Sunday :)

some sneaks for you...
