Hip Kit Club + a cut file

Just stopping by the blog quickly today to share a project I made for the Hip Kit Club blog this weekend using the April kits and one of my JustNick cut files !

I love all the girly colors in the April Hip kits and couldn't toss any of my scraps out! I used a lot to fill in the Crazy Daisy cut file from my store (link below)

I just got working on the May kits and am basically in love with them!!!  Will be back next weekend with a project (and hopefully a process video too).

If you are interested in the cut file - here is a link to it:

Have a great week! Be back soon with another project share :)

Last Cocoa Daisy kit share!

I am back today to share one last project using the May - Here I am - kit from Cocoa Daisy.

I wanted to use a lot of the fun and colorful Webster's Pages papers on a page and so I pulled all the Webster's Pages stuff out of the kits and ste to work. I used the cut file background from the kit on one side of the page, popped with lots of foam adhesive and added a few stamps with the yellow/gold ink from the main kit in between some of the spaces.

I used lots of the DITL add on on this page too. I love those fun Pink Fresh Studio photo frames. Nice and sticky, and great for layering. I stapled and added bits and pieces over some of the journaling cards from one of the Webster's Pages papers.

I cut the letters out of one of the cards to use for my title, adding in some epoxy dots to the "O" in the words for fun. Don't you think that would be a cool alpha stamp set??!

Here is my page all put together. I did end up adding in some of the pretty red patterned paper by Crate Paper, in along with the Webster's Pages papers!

Now, head over to Cocoa Daisy and check out the May main kit - Here I Am - and all the available add-ons too!

Cocoa Daisy May kit share

Yesterday, I shared one of my pages from the May kit - Here I am - from Cocoa Daisy. Today, I wanted to share a page with you using the Patterned Paper Add-on only! I did cheat a little and added in some wood veneers, some letter stickers from my stash and a Silhouette cut title using the gold foil paper from the April Cocoa Daisy kit.

I started my page with some simple white cardstock and then got to work punching the circles out of the Teresa Collins paper in the add-on. I layered the gold heart vellum behind some of the circles and added some simple embellishments too.

I finished off the page with my title - found on Pinterest - and an older goofy photo. lol

I hope you will check out with the DT created with the May Kit - Here I am - check out the galleries HERE and the kit and add-ons HERE. Happy Shopping!

Cocoa Daisy May kit is live!

The May kit - Here I am over at Cocoa Daisy went live for subscribers last night... if you are not a subscriber you are able to order the kit(s) on May 1... I wanted to share one of the pages I made with this very "pretty" kit!

There are lots of fun Crate Paper bits in the kit and available add-ons, and the Thickers are one of my faves! I took an ink pad and added some ink in an ombre type pattern to the letters, from the bottom up. Super easy tip for you. I added lots of layering behind my main photo as the background turned out quite busy.

I liked the woodgrain paper in the kit, but wanted to fancy it up a little, so I added some strips of papers from the kit and add-ons, mixing lots of color and pattern together. Here was the final result:

Pleast stop by the site and check out the kit and our new Guest DT for May all the way from Ukraine!

Creative Sunday!

Just checking in with a quick layout share today with this week's sketch from Creative Scrappers.. Check out the great sketch HERE

Can I say that I LOVE this paper from Pink Paislee!! The raised embossing of the doily image is PERFECT! I also went wild with my turquoise Glimmer Mist... in fact, this paper, inspired this page that I did a few weeks ago (after I made this one).
This paper, I made on my own, but I think it looks almost the same.. what do you think?

all in all.. I think doilies rock :)

Scrappy Sunday!

I couldn't believe that I had time today to scrap a page.. I mean, I even had a hard time with it! I had NO DT obligations to fulfill - and I couldn't get started at first! I love having DT "homework" as it inspires me to create.. but today - I had no plan! lol

So, I took a stop at Scrap That! and was inspired by a challenge there to use Versamark creatively.

Well, I dusted off my Versamark Ink pad, added in a few stamps from Prima, and Studio Calico, even a little clear embossing powder and my heat gun (had to dust those things off too)... and with a little spritz, and rub of my Glimmer Mists...
I came up with this:

Have to admit, I am a tad proud of how it came out. I LOVE my new Prima doily stamp, and although it took a wee bit of time to make the actual background paper, I can say - I will be doing it again soon!

I think it is missing something, but I couldn't decide what...so I just left it.

Here is a quick share of my page this week:

Lots of pastel action going on here.. which if you read my blog know - that is rare for me! That was definitely the most difficult part of this mission for me!! EEK! I did it though.. whew.

Still having fun making myself use ALL the concepts from each mission. Are you???

Play along with us this week will ya!
